Barrow on Humber which is three miles from Barton upon Humber. There is an active Anglican Church along with Nursing, Residential and Psychiatric Homes as well as a Primary School in this predominantly residential, rural village. A significant number of new homes have been built in Barrow over recent years. The Methodist Church was rebuilt in the mid nineteenth century and can accommodate some three hundred person on two floors. There is a Sunday School building within the Church boundary and is used by the community for such things as parties and the Parish Council Meetings. The age of the building ensures that there is a continued need for on-going maintenance.
