Welcome to New Holland Church
A village, which, despite some decline since the closure of the Humber Ferry Link, still has a community of some 1,500 people. The Methodist church is over 100 years old, with a membership of nine, eight of whom attend regularly the Sunday afternoon worship. There is a strong, growing Sunday School, which gives encouragement for the future. The Village School is a joint Anglican / Methodist School and a Circuit Official is, ex-officio, a member of the governing body. It has recently had national recognition for its community scheme that involved pupils and local craftsmen in producing a garden and pond.
