After our service this morning, would members of the congregation take the time to look around, are there any visitors? and / or people sitting on their own? pancakes will be 50p.There will also be a Cake Stall, and donations of caked
and pastries will be very welcome.

Sat 20 Feb 2 - 4.30pm A Lenten quiet afternoon looking at the temptations of Jesus.
St Mary’s Church,Barton-upon-Humber .Reflections, based on St Luke’s
Gospel, will be led by David Redrobe. There will be no charge; drinks will be
provided. Everyone Welcome

Wed 5 Mar 2.00pm Women’s World Day of Prayer at St.Augustine Webster R.C. Church
The Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams, is to be the keynote speaker at a national event in Lincoln which will focus on the long-term development of fresh expressions of church. Dr Williams will be joined by Dr Martyn Atkins, General Secretary of the Methodist Church in Britain.
Fri 5 Mar 10.30am for 11am-4pm The Epic Centre, Lincolnshire Showground, Lincoln, LN2 2NA. ‘Changing the landscape’ fresh expressions and the long term. An event exploring the long-term development of fresh expressions of church. Speakers: Rowan Williams, Martyn Atkins.£25 per person (£10 for Lincolnshire people)
The District is subsidising the cost of 50 places as part of an initiative of Churches Together in All Lincolnshire. If you wish to book and take advantage of the discount you need to do so via Simon Dean rather than via Fresh Expressions. Simon will then be making a block booking with Fresh Expressions. You can phone or email Simon to secure your place. He will then request a cheque for £10 made payable to Churches Together in All Lincolnshire.

2010 Collection Envelopes – have now arrived .

Gift Aid – Anyone who pays Income Tax can increase their giving at no extra cost to themselves by completing a Gift Aid Form. This provides valuable extra income to the Church, for every £1.00 a further 0.28p is received, i.e. £5 + £1.40 = £6.40. Gift Aid forms are available from Wendy

Prayer Book in the foyer – This book is for anyone to write prayer requests in, or ask a Steward to do this for you, to be used in our prayers of intercession.

Do you notice anyone missing in Church today? and / or needing a visit? Please contact Ruth Blythe, our Pastoral Secretary, or a Church Steward. For Pastoral Issues; Your initial contact is Mrs Ruth Blythe, Pastoral Leader, who will follow this up with a call/visit and arrange for a Minister to visit if necessary

20p Thermometer – you will notice that this will be displayed each Sunday for your 20p donations.
Money received will be used to fund the 150th Celebrations, particularly the Flower Festival.

Lent Courses ‘When I survey’
A five week course will start on Tuesday 23 February 2 – 3.30pm at the Barton Manse led by David Belford

Alternatively Mrs Rosemary Lamert will oversee a course at 82 West Acridge 2.30 – 4.00pm starting on Thursday 25 February.
Books will be available at a cost of £3.00. All welcome to join either course

Barrow Chapel are starting their Lent course – the 7 times Jesus spoke from the Cross, on Wednesday 24 February 7.30pm

N.B There is an Accident Book in the foyer if anyone ever needs this.

Would everyone try and keep the doors closed within the Church to keep the heat in. Thank you
