150 Years of Trinity Methodist Church in 2010

Thank you to all who have already agreed to display wedding dresses and photographs from the past 4 decades, we also have the promise of a few Baptism gowns and video footage, have you got any more?
Photographs and newspaper cuttings are still needed.
These will be displayed at a Flower festival during the weekend of 4th, 5th & 6th June 2010. Note the change of date
We would like to use as many photographs as possible of events which have taken place at Trinity e.g. Garden Parties, Sunday School Queens, Music Eisteddfods etc.
If you have any photographs, and are prepared to loan them, please hand them to Wendy in a sealed envelope with name, address and telephone number on each photo.
This event is now less than 7 months away, and time does fly, as soon as we begin to receive photographs we will start to have an idea of what space and categories will be required. Start checking your photo albums.

Church Cleaning Rota
Due for renewal this month and we are short of cleaners! The rota works out, at the moment, at approximately four times a year. If anyone is prepared to help keep the Church clean – two people working together or by joining an existing person / cleaner. Please, as always, talk to Wendy. Areas to be cleaned are only the Church and Ministers Vestry.

Deacon Carys will be unavailable Nov 12th - 19th inclusive. Please contact either Rev Gillian or Rev Enid in the absence of the other.

Prayer Book in the foyer – This book is for anyone to write prayer requests in, or ask a Steward to do this for you, to be used in our prayers of intercession.

Do you notice anyone missing in Church today? and / or needing a visit? Please contact Ruth Blythe, our Pastoral Secretary, or a Church Steward. For Pastoral Issues; Your initial contact is Mrs Ruth Blythe, Pastoral Leader, who will follow this up with a call/visit and arrange for a Minister to visit if necessary

The free magazine 'Inspire' is available in the foyer, please pick up a copy.

20p Thermometer – you will notice that this will be displayed each Sunday for your 20p donations.
Money received will be used to fund the 150th Celebrations, particularly the Flower Festival.

The new loop system is up and running. - Turn your hearing aid to the ‘T’ mark - YOU MUST SIT IN THE SEATS DOWN THE MIDDLE OF THE CHAPEL - If you are having problems talk to a steward.
